Ms. Ursenbach and Mr. Cloutier’s  (Student Teacher) grade 6 class have been learning lots through technology empowered and enhanced blended learning! Through their learning, they’ve been  “setting sail for the stars”, and  becoming (digital) explorers of the solar system in their Science, English, and even Math and Social Studies.

As a class, and as part of a research project, through 6-1’s learning we tried to answer questions like:

• How does technology benefit the arts? (And where does it take away from the arts)
• What kinds of learning technologies can we use to facilitate autonomy-supportive learning, and why is it important?
• What does “organic” learning look like, and how much control can teachers give students in their learning?
